Therapy Rooted in Curiosity, Care, and Collaboration

I offer virtual therapy for clients in Washington D.C., Virginia, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Who You Are

Many of my clients come to therapy looking for a guide—someone to help them sort through what feels unclear and move toward meaningful change. I see you as a whole person with strengths that can be built upon. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel stronger, more confident, and fulfilled.

My Therapeutic Approach

Rooted in psychodynamic and attachment-based psychotherapy, my approach is relational and trauma-informed. I work with clients to understand how early experiences and relationships shape present patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior. Together, we explore these patterns with curiosity and care, creating space for insight, emotional healing, and more authentic connections with self and others.

Inclusivity is at the Heart of My Practice

I bring to my practice an awareness of racial, cultural, and invisible identities that shape each person’s experience. I see my clients as the experts in their own lives, and together we work through what arises in our work together.

My Areas of Specialization

I work with individuals across many stages of life and identity. Whether you’re exploring your past, navigating change, or seeking greater clarity in the present, my goal is to create space for awareness, resilience, and growth.

  • College can bring new challenges around identity, independence, and connection. I work with students navigating the shift to newfound autonomy—developing a sense of self, building new relationships, and maintaining meaningful ones from home.

  • Transitions often ask us to redefine who we are. Whether it’s moving from college to the working world, or from competitive athlete to retired athlete, I help clients navigate change with self-understanding and compassion as they create new meaning in each phase of life.

  • Old wounds can continue to shape how we relate to ourselves and others. My work in this area often focuses on healing multigenerational trauma and addressing longstanding family conflict, including tension between parents and adult children. Together, we work toward understanding and repair.

  • Personal growth can take many forms. I support clients in exploring career and academic paths, navigating relationships, and strengthening self-confidence and self-advocacy. Our work may also include managing anxiety, depression, and other challenges that arise along the way.

  • Parent coaching focuses on strengthening the parent–child relationship through understanding, communication, and connection. Together, we’ll explore strategies that support your child’s emotional wellbeing while helping you feel more confident and grounded in your parenting.

  • Adoption is a lifelong experience that can bring both connection and complexity. I help transracial and international adoptees process their stories, explore cultural and familial identities, and find belonging within and beyond their communities.

Ways we can work together

Individuals

Individual therapy offers dedicated time to focus on your thoughts, emotions, and needs. It’s a space to explore what you’ve been carrying, gain perspective, and develop new skills that support your daily life.

Couples

Couples therapy is not a last resort. It can also be a preventative measure. It's a place to improve communication and understanding. It's a space where difficult, contentious conversations can become constructive

Groups

A supportive group for Asian adoptees to share experiences, explore identity, and connect with others who understand the complexities of adoption and belonging.
