Adoptees

As a counselor and Chinese American adoptee, I understand how meaningful it can be to find resources that speak to both cultural and adoption experiences. The following personally curated list includes organizations, readings, and communities that I have found especially valuable in supporting transnational adoptees and their families. These resources are offered to encourage exploration, connection, and continued healing.

China’s Children International (CCI)

A global, adoptee-led network providing community, mentorship, and educational resources for Chinese adoptees. CCI offers opportunities to connect with peers, explore cultural identity, and access materials that support adoptee wellbeing and empowerment.

College Students

College can be a time of discovery, change, and adjustment. The resources you’ll find here offer support for mental health and wellbeing during this important transition.

These readings and media pieces have been meaningful both personally and professionally, offering insight and reflection for anyone seeking to deepen their understanding of mental health, adoption, and healing.
